Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of mysite-name's embroidery services across England. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any services to ensure a clear understanding of our operations, client responsibilities, and the production process.
1. Service Agreement
By engaging our embroidery services—whether through enquiries, quotations, or order placement—you agree to these terms. Our embroidery services operate in compliance with relevant UK trading standards and textile industry practices.
We provide professional machine and hand embroidery, custom patch creation, and textile embellishment services through our skilled team across England.
2. Service Scope and Realistic Outcomes
Our services include embroidery digitization, machine embroidery, hand embroidery, patch manufacturing, and related textile services. We focus on producing quality embroidery that meets industry standards for durability and appearance.
While we provide professional embroidery services, final results can be influenced by fabric characteristics, design complexity, and technical limitations of embroidery processes. We use appropriate techniques and materials to achieve the best possible outcome based on your specifications.
3. Client Responsibilities
To ensure successful project outcomes, clients agree to:
- Provide accurate design specifications and requirements
- Supply suitable fabrics or approve fabric selections
- Respond to sample approvals in a timely manner
- Provide clear branding guidelines where applicable
- Disclose any specific usage requirements or conditions
Clear communication and timely responses help us maintain production schedules and meet quality expectations.
4. Design Ownership and Usage Rights
Clients retain ownership of designs they supply and are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate rights and permissions for their use. We assume that clients have obtained necessary copyright permissions or own the intellectual property rights to designs provided for embroidery.
We reserve the right to refuse production of designs that may infringe on intellectual property rights or contain inappropriate content.
5. Quotations and Order Confirmation
Quotations are provided based on the information available at the time of enquiry and are valid for 30 days. Order confirmation requires written acceptance of the quotation and any applicable deposit payment. Production schedules begin once orders are confirmed and any required deposits are received.
Significant changes to order specifications after confirmation may affect pricing and delivery timelines, which will be communicated and agreed before proceeding.
6. Sample Approval Process
For new designs or complex projects, we may produce samples for approval before full production. Sample costs are typically included in project pricing for confirmed orders. Client approval of samples authorises us to proceed with full production to the approved standard.
Requests for significant changes after sample approval may incur additional charges and affect production timelines.
7. Payment Terms
Payment terms vary by project size and client history. Deposits of 30-50% may be required for new clients or large orders, with balance due before shipment. Established clients may qualify for net 14-day terms on approved credit.
Late payments may incur interest charges and affect future order processing. We reserve the right to withhold shipment of completed orders until full payment is received.
8. Production Timelines
Production timelines are estimates based on current workload, order complexity, and material availability. We provide realistic timeline estimates during quotation but cannot guarantee exact completion dates due to potential production variables.
Rush services may be available for urgent projects at additional cost, subject to production capacity.
9. Quality Standards and Acceptance
We produce embroidery to industry quality standards with attention to stitch density, tension, and colour accuracy. Minor variations may occur between production runs due to thread lot differences or material characteristics.
Quality concerns should be reported within 7 days of receipt, with supporting photographs. We will address legitimate quality issues through repair, re-production, or credit as appropriate.
10. Material and Fabric Considerations
Embroidery results can vary based on fabric type, weave, and stability. We provide guidance on suitable fabrics and may recommend stabilizers or specific techniques for challenging materials. Clients are responsible for approving fabric selections or supplying suitable materials.
We cannot guarantee identical results across different fabric types within the same order.
11. Cancellation and Changes
Orders may be cancelled before production begins with possible administration charges. Once digitization or production has commenced, cancellation may not be possible, and costs incurred will be charged. Design changes after digitization may incur additional fees.
Reduction in order quantities after production begins may still be charged at the original per-unit rate if it affects production efficiency.
12. Delivery and Shipping
We arrange delivery through reliable courier services, with costs included in quotations. Clients are responsible for providing accurate delivery addresses and ensuring someone is available to receive shipments. Risk transfers to the client upon dispatch.
Delivery timelines provided by couriers are estimates, and we cannot guarantee exact delivery dates, though we monitor shipments and provide tracking information.
13. Intellectual Property Protection
We respect client intellectual property and maintain confidentiality regarding designs and projects. We do not reproduce client designs for other customers or use them in our portfolio without explicit permission.
Clients grant us limited license to use their designs solely for the purpose of fulfilling their specific order requirements.
14. Liability Limitations
Our liability for services is limited to the cost of the order value. We cannot accept responsibility for aspects beyond our control such as fabric characteristics, design limitations for embroidery, or minor colour variations between thread batches.
We maintain appropriate product liability insurance and follow industry best practices in our production processes.
15. Terms Modification
We reserve the right to update these terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, UK regulations, or industry practices. The current terms are always available on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
